Carlos Stelmach
Mr. Stelmach signed up for our program on 1/26/04. Mr.
Stelmach was clearly told in our confirmation call, which is recorded, that all
credit cards must be current and not over the limit, as we convey to every
client via voice recording. Mr. Stelmach misrepresented his financial situation.
Firstly, Mr. Stelmach missed two appointments that were set up with his
financial consultant. Despite his being non-responsive, we worked diligently to
accommodate his schedule, so that we could perform the services we were paid
for. Finally, he did make his third appointment in which we discovered a poor
credit history. Although Mr. Stelmach was over the limit on his Wells Fargo
account and late on his Chase card, we were able to get one interest rate
reduction on his Capital One account from 19% to 14%. Had he not misrepresented
his financial condition we would have been more successful in our efforts.
