Having problems with your Mail Service?
There seems to be a growing number of complaints, in this community about missing mail. Many of the people, whom I see on a regular basis, are voicing the same, or similar complaint about the US Mail service everywhere, from the major cities to the little villages. Mail is not getting to it's destination, both mailed from their towns to other addresses and mailed from other places to their address.
While I can not prove anything, (yet), I have had many, many, way too many items that I have ordered and never received. I also seem to only get about half or less of the mail that is sent to our office. Like you, I have been missing mail. Two years ago, I visited my daughter in Okinawa Japan where she was when her husband was stationed there. I mailed three boxes of goodies home, each with several hundreds of dollars worth of gifts in them. Only two made it to my house. I went to the S.F. Post officer and filed a tracer with Mike, but was told not to expect much as I would be dealing with a military APO in New York. Nothing ever came of the tracer. My son-in-law also sent some stuff from there to my home, it never got here. I am fed up with this post office, sure wish we could do something about it.

I have had approximately 15 separate orders containing mouse
pads for distribution to clients that have been ordered by my company, sent
by the factories, yet they somehow never seem to arrive at my office. Not to
mention the weekly trade journals that arrive a week behind, if at all.
Funny how the pages get dog eared at the beginning of articles and not in
the middle of them. Don't even let me get started with the phone bills, last
year we received a grand total of 9 monthly phone bills including the
termination notices for the months that I have yet to see the statements
for. Or how about one of my client's June payment, dated on the check June
14th and postmarked in Wilmington on June 15th, that arrived here on
December 17th. Well I guess I should be happy that it was still the same
year.

Please note, it was not because I sent them the wrong amount

I have also missed mail on several occasions. I once ordered
some landscape trees. I checked my box daily for about three weeks. Was
nothing in it relating to my order. I finally checked at the window and my
package had arrived (About two weeks earlier!). When I got home the trees
were molded. They'd been sitting in a hot back room for at least two weeks.
I returned to the Sneads Ferry branch of the post office and was told they
had put notices in my box. This was an outright lie. I had been checking
daily as I was expecting the package. I was told by the powers that be that
there was nothing they could do because the package wasn't insured. I then
attempted to contact the Postmaster General and was told to contact the
local postmaster. Apparently the only person you can complain to, is the
person you're complaining about!!

Issue/Comments: I received notice today (12/22/05) that I would not be receiving my packages because "to large for car today" I called the post office 12/23/05 and was told I could pick them up. My question is why did I pay over $25.00 for delivery. If the packages are to much for the USPS to handle they have no business accepting the money or the merchandise. This is not the first time this sort of thing happened to me,last year it took me three days to discover that this same office was holding a small package without my knowledge because it was inconvenient the carrier to got out of the car. I will wait for a response from this email before perusing this mater further, and I will peruse this to the end if need be.

Issue/Comments: It is a shame that the US Post Office can not deliever the mail on time or loose mail -- a package was mailed from Ponchatoula, LA. 70454 - in route to Kuwait on the 7 March 2006 ( priority mail) - it is a shame it did not arrive -- you would think that the mail would be the one place that would make sure the mail is on time. I hope i receive the package - not give the money back to by brother -- the money is not the issue - it the service to the public - -- I am a soldier in Kuwait Theater.

Issue/Comments: On Friday, 27 January at approximately 4:30 pm, a postal driver going down Gendale Ave was driving at a very high speed. The speed was 35 mph and the truck was constanly changing lanes, not using a turn signal, and tailgating. I followed the truck all the way till I turned to get on Hwy 101 and the truck continued on Glendale. The truck's number was 0200288.

not getting mail delivered to new address
Issue/Comments: I have had a terrible time getting mail in Sedona through the Sedona Hwy 89A postal office. I moved July 1, 2005, having filled out a "change of address" card two times indicating I wanted the mail forwarded to my new address beginning June 28, 2005. The mail began coming in about a week later to my new address and then stopped. There was no mail delivered to my new address for at least two weeks. I called in and received really poor service from a woman at the post office named Mary Jo Moore. She hung up on me twice. Finally I was told "a couple of pieces" were sent back for not having the proper suite number. Since I had just sent out a massive post card information to my sources, with the Suite Number on the postcards this did not ring true. Then I was informed I only had received about 3 pieces of mail in two weeks - with two of them being sent back. I would like this postal office and its management looked into as I have also had problems with their services over the past year to my home. They consistently mix my mail up with others in the neighborhood. Also, I wasn't getting mail except maybe once a week and then I would get a bunch of mail on one day. I had to call and complain about this. I also recently got someone else's car registration, not at my address and have not yet received my own which is due at the end of this month. It feels I have to beg for my mail and the inefficiency of this station is appalling.

Issue/Comments: I moved to Maricopa, AZ Feb., 8 and have had nothing but trouble with the local mail service. At first the rural carrier would not come to our box. We left mail in the box with the flag up for 3 days. We contacted the local postmaser, Dave, he said he would send the proper forms with the carrier to start mail service. Again we left mail in the box with postage and the flag up for 3 days. I went to the Maricopa post office to talk with Dave the postmaster but was only able to talk with a supervisor. The superviser called the carrier and the carrier said she delivered the forms to us. I told the supervisor I still wanted to talk with Dave, the postmaster. The nex day Dave left me a voicemail saying that he left a note at the carriers station to deliver the form but she says she didn't get the note. Mind you, this is after the carrier told the supervisor she delivered the forms.
Meanwhile... Michigan sent my last unemployment check to me and the post office returned as "no such address." It has now been 7 days since the State of Michigan re-sent my check. It's been 8 days since a friend from Michigan sent me a personal check. I have not received either.
I have complained to the postal service hotline who basicly said oh well before hanging up on me. I've filed a complaint with the Postmaster General who refered me to the hotline for dispute resolution. Seems the local post office is not held accountable by anyone.
I mentioned this subject to my neighbors and that also have had much trouble with the post office. I talk with a man I work with that lives is the same area as me, and he is having simular problems with the post office. Heck, I was standing in line at the post office to make a complaint and overheard another person compaining about all the trouble he was having getting his mail.
Is there any justice?

Issue/Comments: DISABLED VETERAN STRIPPED OF A BASIC RIGHT
The U.S. Postal Service has just stripped away my right to receive U.S. Mail. That right is given in US Code 39. (39USC403c). The reason for mail denial is based on reprisal. The U.S. Postal Service falsely informed U.S. Senator Jon Kyl that I had not produced two forms of required ID for my mail Service in Show Low Arizona. Here are a couple of facts that may be of interest to you.
1. Two forms of ID (Arkansas Driver's license, plus military ID) were presented and recorded on PS Form 1093 upon my application for mail service in March of 2002.
2. I have obtained a copy of the PS Form 1093 through the Freedom of Information Act, which clearly shows the recording and acceptance of my Driver's license and military ID.
3. The purpose of the reprisal is because I challenged an unlawful policy by the Show Low Arizona Postmaster. Now I am paying a price for the freedom that I, and my military family, has fought for in nearly every war the U.S. Has ever fought.
While convicted murderers and rapist get their mail in prison, I am denied mail because I challenged an unlawful policy. While convicted murderers and rapist get their medications, my medication, which is critical for my disease, as a result of combat, is being refused for delivery by the mail service.
I'm not a law breaker, but I am a law abiding, tax paying disabled American Veteran, who continued to work for 35 years despite my mental & physical disabilities.
The source of the conflict
The Postmaster instructed his clerks to inform the patrons that if their mail boxes overflowed three times within the rental period (normally 6 months) then they could take adverse action against the patron.
I knew this was not right, so I researched the U.S. Postal Service Domestic Mail Manual, (Postal Law) which states in paragraph 4.4.4 (Overflow), under 508 Recipient Services, “When mail for a customer's post office box(es) exceeds the capacity of the box(es) on 12 of any 20 consecutive business days (excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays), the customer must use caller service, change to a larger box, or use one or more additional boxes (subject to availability) to which mail will be addressed”.
I challenged the Postmaster's illegal 3 day overflow policy. I even quoted the Postal Law verbatim in writing, and asked that he provide me the authority that permitted him to deviate, alter, or make up his own law, (which no postmaster can do)
Well, he refused to respond, so then I attempted to contact the Postmaster General in Washington D.C. With an official complaint. Three letters to the Postmaster General went unanswered. I wrote a letter to the Postal Advocate in Washington D.C.. It went unanswered. I wrote a letter to the Phoenix AZ Postal Consumer Affairs. It went unanswered.
Finally I wrote U.S. Senator Kyl and requested assistance in obtaining an answer from the Postmaster General. That's when the Postal Service intentionally provided the Senator with false information and eventually refused mail service.
I had no problems during the nearly four years of mail service at my P.O. Box. I was never asked to resubmit any ID during the entire time other than the standard procedure to request ID for acceptance of controlled medications. On one occasion my ID was provided to the Postal Service after the threat was made through Senator Kyl's office to discontinue my mail service.
I am more than able to substantiate, with documentation, every claim I have provided.

packages, and important letters
Issue/Comments: I have written and spoke with the Sacramento Post Office a few times now about the terrible mail delivery service around here. For the past few years it has gotten worse since we have a different mail deliverer most every day. Our entire apt. complex has had mail delivered to other addresses and we receive other peoples' mail, too. I've had packages that never arrived, and cards, along with bills, that got lost somewhere. Just recently, my stepdad sent us a Christmas card with money in it, and thank our Lord that the person that received this returned it to us with the money (he even opened it!). Not too many honest people like that around anymore. We've had friends ship us a package from Florida that took over 2 weeks Priority Mail. The worst one yet was when one of our "buy now pay later" Figi's catalogues went to another address a couple blocks away. About 6 months later I got a call asking me why I didn't pay the $300 for all the steaks, cheese, and candy! I never ordered any of this! They figured it out that our street number address was the same as the other person's but our street name was different (it's all in alphabetical order around here-and they sure don't know their alphabet!). It was quickly cleared up and charges were brought against the other person for fraud. I pray for the postal service to get us the same carrier every day and be more careful with their delivery. Issue/Comments: Back in September of 2005 my husband recieved a gift in a USPS box on our front porch...the problem is the Mail Man threw the box and it broke our stain glass window. It will cost $430 to fix it and I put in a claim with the USPS and they have denied my claim because they can find no negligence in the actions of their employees. I filed the complaint within 2 days of the action (it happened on a Saturday), and after being tossed to and fro by the USPS I get this outcome. We cannot afford a $430 window and it looks crappy with cardboard over it. I am disappointed to think that the USPS can throw boxes at our houses and break things and if their employees say they didn't break it, we're out of luck.

It appears that my mail carrier is afraid of my pomeranian dog. He does seem to go crazy over the mail carrier , but has never bit anyone. Issue/Comments: A year ago I moved and had my mail forwarded to my new address. Months later I tracked down a lot of my mail at my old address. I went to my local post office to try and understand why and next thing I knew my Post Man was at my door the next morning screaming at me that 'he knows I get my mail here he just delivered some yesterday!'. Now it has been over a year since that incident and for the past few months I have had mail sent back to sender for wrong address, forwarding expired, not at this address, no forwarding information available. My cell phone has been shut off 3 times because I dont ever receive a bill, my paychecks and child support checks get returned to sender and I have to wait months for each one to get cleared up. My Post office called me today to tell me to get copies of the envelopes from the people but when I as k for them it seems to be impossible as mail is opened in separate departments. My Post Office also tole me that my mail man is very frustrated because he is giving me all the mail there is for me. Basically, IM SCREWED. I am owed over 2000 from work and child support but they arent being delivered to me. I am more than frustrated I have cried over this and been upset over this for months now and I have no recourse that I know of.

I was told that "the USPS is a business and it isn't cost efficent for the postal carrier to get out of his vehicle and come to your door". Non-delivery of 1st class letters
Issue/Comments: Last fall I mailed (1st class postage) two DVDs to two different address - they did arrive - about two weeks later. This April 14th I mailed a DVD with family papers to CA - again first class postage was paid - it STILL hasn't arrived.

Issue/Comments: I am the president of my community homeowners association. The US Post OFfice refuses to sort our mail They drop it off in bulk (10 large boxes) for us to sort and put into mail boxes ourselves. They tell us this was a mutual agreement with the Developer in 1996. She states this is not true. She did not agree, she was not given any other option. It is costing us $15,000 a year to sort and deliver our own mail. I have contacted the local postmaster, and the District office. I have even sent a letter to the Postmaster General in D.C. That letter was passed on to Tampa. The bottom line is they refuse to make any changes. We are getting to the point that we cannot handle the work here and need the US Post Office to do their job. We have offered to take the mail in bulk and place it in the mailboxes, if they would only sort it and handle the mail forwarding.

Issue/Comments: More recently, I have been missing mail that is normally sent to me on a routine basis such as credit card bills, mortgage statements, utility bills etc... In the last 2 months of March, 2006 and April, 2006 I have been receiving some of my mail items from my neighbor. In the mean time, I have had to battle with my credit card bills and others for late fees as a result of never receiving my mail. And now I have yet to receive my Home mortgage statement for April, 2006. This has to stop!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is becoming a major inconvenience and should it be determined that my mail is reaching other parties, my personal information has the potential to reach the wrong hands and could result into something severly catastrophic, other than a major inconvenience.

Issue/Comments: I do not know what to do. After 23 years at the same address, the past 12 month or so have been a nightmare in receiving my mail. Many times, I have not received greeting cards from family/friends/ photos and invitations. I have had my book orders thrown on the ground, only to find the carton opened and contents removed (these packages use to be placed on my porch) I have had the Sheriff's Police place a survelliance camera, which showed nothing. I personally went to post office, called them and am getting nowhere. Obviously my mail problems are "INSIDE" within the post office employees. I know for a fact I have a new delivery carrier (I live rural route) because he knocked on my door on a weekend evening this past summer to introduce himself (which I thought was strange) and told me he "replaced all the mailboxes because all the neighbors wanted that", which I had never complained about. He then said there would be a $25 "donation". I delivered this money to the POST OFFICE and told them I thought this was strange, and felt I was being intimated by this carrier. They, of course, did nothing except make me feel like the villan. That same mail carrier came to my home the evening I delivered the money directly to the post office and asked me if "Have you forgotten about me?" I told him to get his ass off my property or I would call the police There is more to tell, please help

Mail Delivery in Moline, IL.
Issue/Comments: There are way too many people in my neighborhood receiving each other's mail!! Moline really stinks when it comes to mail delivery!! It's bad enough we don't even get our mail until after 5:00 p.m. some days, let alone not receiving it at all!! I get my paycheck through the mail and have not received it this week!! You can complain all you want, it seems like no one cares and nothing ever changes. Now I have to figure out how I'm going to get my bills paid, but what do they care. There is way too much carelessness. I can promise you things would change if it was a politician not receiving his mail!! We have hippa laws to abide by, which state a patient's medical record confidential, but when it comes to the mail (even though it is a FEDERAL offense to get into another person's mail box), they can't even deliver properly!! I refuse to receive anything by mail anymore. I will try to get direct deposit and use other means of paying my bills. I can no longer count on the U.S. postal service, esp. in Moline, they stink!!

Issue/Comments: what gives postal employees the right to withhold a customers mail just because they are mad at you? My letter carrier recently has stopped delivering my mail if my dog is at the front door. My carrier is a relative and has been in my home on numerous occassions, has petted our dog, she's laid in his lap and he has "loved" her. Now since he is upset with me for whatever reason he has decided NOT to deliver my mail if my front door is open and the dog is there. Granted the dog does bark when he comes to the house but if he just called her by name she would be fine since she would recognize his voice!!

mail not delivered to me or from me sent out
Issue/Comments: i moved from clarksville,tn. to hopkinsville,ky. (just 20 miles) nov.2005. i was getting my disability check thru the mail. never had any problems before moving here. dec. 1,05 was to be my first delivered here on the the 3rd just as always. i didn't get it!!! the mailman said he thought i had moved out (i had just moved IN) and sent that one piece back, but not the bills!! he made sure i got those. of course this made all my bills late. being on a fixed income of $643, i do not have extra monies to put back for emergancies. my 12 year old son and i live barely month to month. the s.s. office replaced the check 2 weeks later, then the original showed up 3 weeks later. in the mean time the s.s. sent another 2 replacement checks, which i did take back.
then last april i sent a $100 m.o. to reserve a spot at a week long summer camp for my for june. that friday, the same week i sent the first m.o., i sent the final $75 m.o. the 4-h club still had not gotten the second m.o. by late may. today is 9-22-06, they still haven't got it. i filled that m.o. out at the desk in the p.o. and handed that envelope to the clerk. now what did she do with it?
now, this is the second month in a row, that the carrier has sent my bank statement back. remember, i am on a fixed and very limited income. the bank charges $5 to the account for returned statements. this has overdrawn my already empty account twice.
complaining to the postmaster hasn't made any changes. this is a small town, only have one p.o. signed very frustrated

Issue/Comments: USPS has just lost my business to the internet. I can not believe that it could take up to 21 days to get a return receipt card back in the mail when the overnight package was mailed within the same state. Every time I call the USPS to check on the status of the "green card", I am told that it could take a longer period of time before I receive the card back. It seems like they should just admit that the darn thing is lost and refund my money. I will no longer waste my money at the USPS, the internet doesn't have an additional charge when I take care of my business.

Issue/Comments: In July of 2007, I shipped approximately 10 to 12 boxes of books from Athens, GA to Ruston, LA. The packages were well wrapped and in sturdy boxes. Only 7 boxes arrived at my new office in LA. These were boxes full collegiate books and graduate level texts. One box was even returned with someone else’s books in it with an apology note from the US Postal service. Obviously someone realized that these boxes contained collegiate textbooks, busted them open “accidentally,” and sold them for crack money since the resale value for such books are so high. Repeated attempts to call / contact the US postal service at all locations in GA, LA, & everywhere in between has been useless sense nobody wants to help and it's so much easier to shift the blame and just say "have you tried calling some other post office yet? Yeah you should do that because I don't know anything." Which basically translates into, I don't want to help you and could care less about your situation. I even contacted the Mail Recovery Center in Atlanta, they were useless and basically told me nothing could be done.

Issue/Comments: Our mail carrier skips our mail delivery whenever she feels like it. After not getting mail 2 days in a row, I tracked her down later in her route and asked where my mail was. First she said it was too icy (my steps and walkway were completely clear). Then she said she was overworked and had asked for help but didn't get it. Our previous mail carrier and any substitute carriers never have a problem delivering the mail. This woman is a wacko. I've seen her in her mail truck in front of our house reading a novel!!! What can I do?

Issue/Comments: I work at the New Center One Bldg. located in Detroit, MI. I have visit the Post Office located in the Fisher Building, Detroit, MI on a daily basis for my company.
I have continuously taken verbal and emotional abuse from one of the employees (Gwendolyn Sasson) at this branch. I have a # CV33890764 from a previous complaint I filed. Gary form the Pembrook Post Office called and said this was not his employee and I asked him to please forward it the Fisher Bldg. site. I was under the impression that he was not going to forward it.
It has been approx. two weeks since I made the first call.
As a customer I do not feel that I should be afraid to get service. Gwendolyn is rude, slow, and completly unprofessional. When I hand her mail, she makes unnecessary comments, and takes the mail and literally throws it to the side as if I am bothering her. If she does not want to work with the public then I suggest she find a new job or please enroll her into anger management classes. Please give her an attitude adjustment or I will no longer be a customer at this branch

Issue/Comments: My husband gets laid off in the winter months. So of course he gets unemployment checks. The check is to come on saturday, the bank closes at noon, our mail might show up at 3 pm. After paying bills & food, you can imagine we look for that check every other sat. Bill puts our mail on hold so we can pick it up before noon & get to the bank. There is an employee at the local post office who has taken a personal vendetta against my address now. He makes rude comments & we now do not get that check on Sat. I went this morning to get the mail, of course he was the only employee working the window, it took him 5 minutes to get my mail, and the check wasn't there. After his comment about we dont put mail on hold for a few days, i beleive this guy is holding the check until mon or tue. If the guy hates his job this much he should not be there. I work in the next town north of us, so i do use the post office there, the employees there have heard of his reputaion of being a jerk. I believe its time to speak up to the post office. Any other place of employment would not tolerate this type of behavior from a public servant. I am planning on sending a letter to the post master, I'm sure it wont do any good.

Issue/Comments: For months, our post office has been returning our mail to the senders. This means we are not getting our bills, bank statemants or much of anything else. I have asked them not to, however, they must know best, as they are still doing it. I am now paying late fees on everything, and I am very angry. I finally forwarded our mail to my son's. Perhaps that Post Office can get it right. I can't afford these late fees, and it does no good to our credit rating. Being it's the government, I suppose I have no recourse.

My husband has had this addresss for 35 years and if thier was a change of address the Post Office would have contacted us right. Two months ago I was told by the Post Office in Tularosa over the phone to put 1601 West 2nd Ave Tularosa New Mexico and we did but or mail is still being rejected by the post office. Yesterday I got my son electric at his address in Alamogordo this is the physical address the mailing address is 1601 West 2nd Ave and the Post office in Tularosa rejected it. Somebody had the address changed to 714 Post Ave Trailer 3 Alamogordo 88310. I take care of my son bill even he lives in Alamogordo he is disabled and I have guardianship and take care of all the bills. So what is wrong with this post office in Tularosa if their would have been a change in our address why didn't they contact us. I have changed the address to 1601 West 2nd Ave Tularosa 88352 2 months ago and Tularosa Post Office just returned my internet bill to Zianet back. Their needs to be an investigation in to this problems at the Tularosa Post Office to see what is going on with these people and to see why the post Master is not doing his job right.

Issue/Comments: I recently Shipped a box to my parents and nephew containing new DVDs, a school book, and some children's clothes. It was well packed and taped securely. This box had been through four moves and each time was packed with books. It was very thick and had never broken or even bent.... Thus I didn't insure the box. It took two weeks to arrive and my mom told me that it had arrived dammaged. The whole corner had been ripped open and several items including the DVDs were missing. About 75 dollars worth of stuff. Also, the box had items that I never sent. Valentine items and little boy items that were never mine... Someone elses stuff! I am very upset! I spent almost 20 dollars to ship a box that never delivered my items. I guess I'll ship with another company next time!

Issue/Comments: I shipped a package by priority mail on 14 Nov 2005 to Dire Dawa, Ethiopia. As the US post office in Shinglehouse , Pa 16748 does not have Global Express this was the fastest way I could send it. The package contained clothes, food items and other personal items for my fiancee' and little boy who currently still are living in Ethiopia until they can join me here in the US. I have shipped before and had no problems, but now this one seems to be lost. Normal time is 10-14 days for delivery.We are now on day 26. The post office does seem to have a clue of what to do. Now this package is already expensive because of the shipping costs($74.50) but also by the value of the items inside (over $240.00). Want the post office to get off their backside and get me some kind of response. Seems to me if that if I paid for the highest level of service I should get an answer one way or another, but as I guess since it isn't their fiancee' or son missing out on Christmas its not a big deal

Issue/Comments: I just picked my mail up from the PO today after being gone for 3 weeks. I had ordered my book from my husband's apt. in Montgomery, AL and we live in Camden, SC.
When my son and I picked the up today from the King Haigler PO in Camden / Dusty Bend, SC; the package was already opened and all that was there was the package with the newsletters.
I am really upset since someone in the P.O. system is obviously stealing.

Issue/Comments: I purchased a Dell Inspiron 6000 on Feb. 12, 2006 on the Navy online website for $858. I received the computer on Feb. 22nd. 2006. I decided that I wanted to upgrade my system and called the number Dell supplied for returns. The customer service rep. gave me a return address, and I printed up a shipping label for the price of $8.10 with delivery confirmation bar code. I have never returned anything nor have I ever shipped anything, anywhere, anytime. I placed the laptop in the box that it came in. Applied the label to the box and took it to the post office. I stood in line about 15 minutes and when I got to the counter and asked the postal worker is there anything else that I need to do for this package, seeing as how I've never mailed a package before. The worker said "no, this label is all you need". So, I left the package with the worker and went home. On the 24th of March, one of the many calls I made. I called Dell to see when might I receive my refund for $858.After a lot of conversation, due to the fact that her accent was so strong. The Dell rep said 30 days. I called again to confirm this. That's when the fun began. The exchange store said the laptop was sent to the wrong place. Then I was informed that the laptop box arrived with nothing in it. I made several calls, sent several e-mails, wrote a number of complaints for 4 months. After which the post office said since there was not insurance on the package. They could do nothing. Dell said they could not help, and the exchange online store echoed these statements. It was determined by the postal inspectors that it was taken by a postal service employee. I have a lot of info and paperwork to prove delivery and purchase of the laptop. If the is anything your dept. could do. It would be greatly appreciated. I am a D.O.D.fireman and a veteran in the Persian Gulf War. I'm not wealthy by any stretch. I just want my $858 for the laptop. I hold the post office responsible for this. All 3 entities involved agrees. However. None of these entities are taking responsibility to reimburse me for my loss. Please help if you can. Thank you.

Issue/Comments: Whenever I am waiting for some important mail, like checks, or something I had ordered and am waiting on, I won't get it for more than 7-10 days after the post mark. I've made some personal complaints at the post office and they say that they deliver it when they get it. I've asked them to hold my mail there instead of having it delivered and they won't do that for me. Issue/Comments: We have been having mail problems for about 2 months now. Our mail is being picked up at our office but it never makes it to it's destination. In the past month and a half I have had to stop payment on 5 checks at a cost of $25.00 per check. those checks have yet to be seen. The frequency of mail not arriving at it's destination is very alarming. We have had on one occasion, the mail person left the mail on the sidewalk in fornt of our office at 7:00 pm. We were lucky that a tenant that lives above our business saw this and picked up the mail before it was stolen. I spoke to the supervisor at the post office about this, she did apologize than proceded to tell me I should get a mail drop installed in the office door in case the mail is delivered after 4:30 (our closing time). I told her "NO", and have not installed a mail drop. We have been closing at 4:30 for 30 years, and have been in the same location, same building. Today was the last straw. Our telephone service was disconnected because the phone company had not received the payment that was sent to them 2 weeks ago. I checked with the bank and the checks had not cleared. So I had to scramble to get the service restored. As a business we can't afford the phone lines to be down for 10 minutes. If the postman/woman cannot do their job why have them. Obvisously they are over paid and incompetent. We are now taking our mail to the post office ourselves. We will see if this corrects the problem.

Issue/Comments: Postal Delivery in the Edgelawn/Camden Ave area for Parkersburg, WV is atrocious! Mail is NOT delivered everyday as it is in other areas. My neighbor has seen the carrier pull into a church parking lot at the end of our street and park to talk with others, then start up and leave - never to deliver to a single house. Mail is also not picked up when left in the mailbox with the flag up. A letter from Louisville, KY took over 13 weeks to arrive. A postcard took a year and a half. Mail is not delivered for 3 or 4 days, then your mailbox is literally packed with ads, letters, etc. Many flyers/coupons delivered arrive the week AFTER the weekends the sales were dated for. Mail is also delivered opened or as late as 7pm. I am on permanent disability and checks are dated to be delivered on the 1st and 3rd. As in today's mail, this doesn't happen all the time.
We pay the same for delivery as other areas and there is no reason we should not get even half the service.
